Business Development Manager

We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager in Atlanta, New York, Dallas, & Seattle area. (Contract Opportunity)

This position is responsible for aggressively expanding our presence in the market through the proactive development of our product. Sales efforts are conducted in line with prescribed corporate sales strategy, utilizing various sales and marketing aids.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Generating sales leads by networking, cold-calling prospects and building relationships as part of a coordinated sales strategy; creating sales strategies by gathering market information, analyzing opportunities and documenting sales methodology;

  • Makes outbound calls to potential customers by telephone, fax or e-mail to qualify leads to sell products and/or services in an effort to increase sales revenue.

  • Responding to client prospect inquiries by preparing responses to requests for proposals (RFP’s) and requests for quotations (RFQ’s);

  • Develops and executes sales plans to build and maintain customer relationships.

  • Meets or exceeds required number of outbound sales calls per day.

  • Meets or exceeds targeted sales quotas.

  • Overcomes objections of prospective customers.

  • Emphasizes features, benefits and advantages of products and/or services, quotes prices and availability of products/services.

  • Prepares reports as requested of immediate manager/supervisor.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 3-5 years inside/outside sales experience or equivalent.

  • Demonstrated success in system based selling.

  • Must have excellent organizational, written and oral communication, listening and presentation skills.

  • Must be able to communicate in a variety of presentation environments.

  • Must possess the ability to design, develop, write and effectively communicate reports, proposals and sales strategies.

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis
